Junior & Senior DevOps Engineer (m/w/d)

Millions of data points are turned into a key number, a trend value, and a chart that makes Austria’s mobility understandable. Hundreds of thousands of movement patterns are aggregated, extrapolated and stored in databases in order to answer the variety of questions posed by our customers. And in between? There’s you.

As DevOps Engineer in the Operation team, you’ll ensure the smooth operational running of our software products and that the latest analyses are available to our customers with high performance on a daily basis. You will continuously improve the development and integration process with our Development and Analytics team.

Your tasks

  • Further development and operation of the monitoring infrastructure to ensure the operational business
  • Automation of ETL processes
  • Development of microservices for the automated deployment of our products
  • Deploy software packages as Docker image, Redhat or Debian package
  • Expansion and support of our build/deployment infrastructure
  • System administration of Debian GNU/Linux and RedHat Enterprise Linux

Your profile

  • Completed degree in computer science, software development or similar. Alternatively, several years of professional experience as a DevOps- or software engineer.
  • Experience with DevOps methodology (Infrastructure as Code, Continuous Integration and Delivery, Ansible, Terraform)
  • Experience with monitoring systems such as InfluxDB2, Alerta, Grafana, Prometheus or similar
  • Experience with modern development tools (Gitlab, Maven, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Go programming language is an advantage, alternatively another programming language like Java/Kotlin/Python
  • Experienced handling of GNU/Linux systems
  • An independent, solution-oriented way of working
  • Pleasure in trying out new technologies
  • Hands-on mentality

We provide

  • A permanent position on a full-time basis with a minimum salary of €3.800,- (Junior) or €4.500,- (Senior) with the possibility of overpayment in case of appropriate qualifications and professional experience
