We are constantly improving our dashboards to provide you with even better insights and an optimal user experience. There are numerous new features on the way, particularly in Location Insights. Find out what updates are coming here:
Two-factor authentication
Data protection is our top priority. To continue ensuring our high security standards, we are introducing two-factor authentication (2FA) in our dashboards.
The next time you log in, the system will prompt you to set up two-factor authentication.
Instructions for setting up two-factor authentication:
1. After entering your username and password, a QR code with brief setup instructions will automatically appear the next time you log in.
2. Download an authenticator app of your choice from the App Store or Google Play Store. (If you already use an authenticator app, you can of course continue to use it.)
Examples: Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, Authy, Duo Mobile, or similar apps.
3. Open the Authenticator app and start the setup process by tapping the “+” icon or using the “Scan QR Code” feature.
4. Scan the Mobility Insights QR code shown using your app.
5. The app will then automatically generate a six-digit code that refreshes every 30 seconds. You will need to enter this code every time you log in from now on.
6. Once setup is complete, you’ll need to enter the 6-digit code from your Authenticator app. After entering the code successfully, you can use the dashboard as usual.
Tip: Below the QR code, you’ll find a secret (a long string of letters and numbers). Keep this in a safe place. It can be used to set up two-factor authentication via a browser extension and make it easier to enter the codes.

Advanced Date Selection
The date selection options in Location Insight have been expanded. In addition to the previous options for selecting individual days, weeks, months, quarters, and years, you can now also analyze extended time periods.
Multi-Select
The “Multiple” feature allows you to select several time periods within the same level (e.g., days, weeks, or months) at the same time. For example, you can analyze all Saturdays, weekends, or specific weekdays together. This feature is particularly useful for analyzing weekly markets or recurring daily events.
The “Daily Average” setting displays the average visitor count for the selected time period.
The “Days” setting displays the visitor count for individual days side by side. These display options are available at the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual levels.
Period
In addition, the new “Time Period” feature is now available. This allows you to flexibly define contiguous time periods within the same level—for example, 1.5 weeks or several consecutive months. This is particularly useful for analyzing seasons or time-limited events.
The “Daily Average” setting displays the average visitor count for the selected time period. You can also break down visitor trends by different time periods (day, week, month, quarter, year) and view each period individually.
Download Data
In addition, the download automatically adapts to the data you’ve selected. This allows you to analyze the data in Excel or as a CSV file in an even more targeted manner and filter it according to your specific needs.

Comparison option with expanded date selection
Comparison with multiple selection
You can also use the new time selection feature in the comparison function. The multiple-selection feature allows you to directly compare several independent time periods. For example, you can specifically compare a particular day of the week with the corresponding day of the week in the previous month.
Comparison of time periods
You can also use the time range feature in the comparison view. This allows you to directly compare related time periods. For example, you can compare the peak season with the off-season or specific time periods with those from the previous year.
Both time settings can also be compared with each other, meaning that multiple selections of independent time periods can be combined with selections of contiguous time spans. These time adjustments also apply to all other categories, such as the analysis of origin, nationality, and interactions.
API
We are now offering an API, in the form of a bearer token, for our dashboards upon request. This API is designed for customers who wish to integrate their data into their own systems. Among other things, the API enables automated data retrieval for custom dashboards, the creation of data lakes, and further processing in databases and other applications.
