114th Gady Market
For the 114th time – a tradition that will not be broken.
Like every six months, the Gady Market in Lebring is an integral part of the event scene, which not only makes an important economic contribution to the region and represents the mobility and agricultural sectors, but above all offers visitors an unmistakable “Gady Market flair“.
The Gady Family’s major event is already enjoying great popularity among Austrians for the 114th time. We took a closer look at the two-day “folk festival” and provide an even deeper insight into the lively hustle and bustle on site:
The Gady Market attracted a total of almost 20,000 visitors to the venue in Lebring this weekend. It is noticeable that around twice as many guests visited the market site on Sunday.
But it was not only the total number of visitors that differed between the two days of the event:
On Saturday, a particularly large number of young people (<18 to 29 years) visited the Gady Market. Many of them attended the children’s costume meeting. This can also be assumed in connection with a clearly visible visitor peak at noon. With a national guest share of over 99%, the event is a particularly conspicuous magnet for all Austrians. Of these, more than 85% came from the 8 southernmost districts of Styria, 5% of them directly from the provincial capital. This means that the event enjoys considerable popularity among Styrians and is proving to be very popular in the region. Most people arrived between 10-11 a.m. and spent an average of almost 3 hours at the event.
Our data allows us to understand the behavior and needs of visitors even better and can significantly support the planning of the next Gady Market!
